Brewery owner Zach Smith announces run for Bonita Spring City Council

Smith wants to make a thriving community for working families





Bonita Springs, FL – Brewery owner, Zach Smith, announces his run for Bonita Springs City Council District 2. His vision is to make the city a thriving community for working families.

 

“I want to keep our community thriving, making sure working families aren’t priced out of the city. I want to see Bonita Springs develop its own identity – it’s not Fort Myers or Naples.” Smith states.

 

Zach Smith is a Southwest Florida native. Growing up in the area gave him an appreciate of the beautiful environment and opportunities that exist.

 

Smith continues, “My business is Downtown Bonita Springs and the communities that radiate from it. I’ve been very involved in the community, and I have been listening. We deserve a city council that will invest in the city for the people that live here.”

 

​Zach Smith’s mission is to facilitate conversations with the community and the government to address long-term projects. Smooth pledges to streamline the community development process to improve speed for businesses, address traffic concerns, and build attractive public facilities.

 

“I will be dedicated in my pursuit to ensure that our budget for public assets gets the best bang for our buck while benefiting our community. We need to hold Community Development accountable and ensure that they are representing the city efficiently and effectively to establish an image of competency. We need to show people that things get done in Bonita” Smith explains.
